Is there a Last Word on Sugar Substitutes?

September 8, 2017

At this time there is no last word. It has been very hard to prove that sugar substitutes help people lose weight or even to control their weight. In fact even though the use of sugar substitutes has increased and increased Americans are growing fatter and fatter, nots thinner and thinner. Obviously this does not mean that sugar substitutes are the culprit but it certainly means that they are not the cure. There is also some evidence that some sugar substitutes are neurotoxins. The best advice that we can give you is to cut down on sweetened foods no matter however they are sweetened.
