A New Way to Fight Skin Cancer

July 27, 2018

Sunscreen only helps fight skin cancer when it is still on your skin. After you have been swimming or sweating you may need to apply more sun screen, but how do you know whether you need more?

There is a new product will give you the answer. It is currently available in Europe and hopefully will be available in the United States in 2018.

This product was developed by a Canadian firm. It is a transparent ink that is incorporated into a sticker that you place on your skin. The little round stickers impregnated with the transparent ink are called SPOTS.

When you are out in the sun and wearing a SPOT, it will  change color when it is time to reapply the sun screen. You can use one SPOT all day long even if you are swimming or sweating.
