Are You Too Old To Lower Your Cholesterol?

Just because you are older than 75 do not think that it is unnecessary to lower LDL Cholesterol. In fact quite the opposite is the truth. A recent study of more than 14,000 people over age 75 revealed that statins reduced vascular events similarly for all age groups.


This benefit is greater for older people since cardiovascular risk increases with age.
